How Executive Council works
You bring one hard question. Executive Council puts it in front of a panel of AI models that each think in a different way, lets them argue it out, and hands you a single recommendation with its reasoning shown.
The deliberation protocol
Five reasoning seats each take a different angle on your question:
- Opportunity looks for the upside: leverage, and bets that pay off asymmetrically.
- Skeptic goes after your assumptions and the ways this could go wrong.
- Systems traces the second-order effects and how things play out over time.
- Operator asks whether you can actually pull it off, and what it costs.
- First Principles strips the question to its foundations and questions the framing itself.
Two researchers gather evidence first. The seats then critique each other in focused duels and revise their positions. A Chairman writes the final answer, and a Meta-Evaluator audits it for claims the evidence does not support.
What a credit buys
Every council invocation costs 1 credit: an opening question, a follow-up, or a challenge. A challenge's clarification round is bundled into its credit. A failed run refunds its credit automatically.
Using it, step by step
- 1Create an account
Sign in with your email. We send you a magic link, no password to remember. Your sessions stay private to you.
- 2Choose credits or your own key
The simple path is managed credits: buy a pack and run deliberations, no key needed. Power users can instead bring their own OpenRouter key and pay the provider directly.
- 3Add your key
Going the own-key route? Hit the key button in the app and paste it in. We store it encrypted and sync it across your devices. We never show it back to you or charge our own account.
- 4Set your project context
Open the Project Context panel and describe your company, your market, or the problem you are chewing on. We feed that into every deliberation so the answers fit your situation, not a generic one.
- 5Ask a sharp question
Bring a real decision. The harder and higher-stakes it is, the better this works. The council is built for judgement calls, not trivia.
- 6Read the synthesis and audit
The Chairman pulls the whole debate into one recommendation, then a Meta-Evaluator checks it against the evidence and calls out anything the council cannot back up.
- 7Push back
Disagree? Use Challenge mode. The council will ask for any missing context, then re-run the whole debate to answer your objection head on.
Getting your OpenRouter key
Going the own-key route puts you in full control of your own OpenRouter credit, down to the cent. Here is the whole setup, and why it is nothing to worry about.
Is this safe? Yes, here's why.
- You set the spending limit. Cap it at $5 and nothing can ever go past it.
- Turn it off whenever you want, in one click.
- Start small. A few cents gets you a full deliberation.
- We can never touch your money. We only ever spend what you allow.
